•         Gemeng International Energy Co.,Ltd (GMIE) is a joint venture approved by Ministry of Commerce of PRC and Shanxi Provincial Government. The company’s ownership is shared by five parties--Shanxi International Energy Group, Korea Electric Power Corporation, Deutsche Bank, J-Power and Chugoku Electric Power INC.
            Gemeng International Energy, with registered capital of 10 billion Yuan, is the largest JV project in Shanxi, owns the total assets of 26.6 billion Yuan. As the biggest share holder, SIEG takes 47% shares, Korea Electric Power Co., Ltd 34%, Deutsche Bank 9%, J-Power 7%, and Chugoku Electric Power INC. 3%.
            GMIE ’ business mainly focuses on energy field, including power generation, coal mining, coal bed methane, clean energy, sewage treatment, real estate and tourism. GMIE is investing in energy industry worldwide, and will initiate the listing plan on “A+H” stock market as soon as possible.

            Shanxi International Energy GroupSpecialized in electricity and other energy investments, Shanxi International Energy Group (SIEG) is one of the super large state-owned provincial enterprises. With the registered capital of 5.2 billion Yuan, SIEG has the total assets of 30 billion Yuan. The predecessor of SIEG is Shanxi Local Electric Power Company.

             Korean Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO):KEPCO is the biggest comprehensive electric power enterprise in South Korea, ranking No. 306 (by 2010) in Fortune 500 companies. With the total assets of 60.86 billion USD and total installation capacity of 74GW, KEPCO has listed on the New York and domestic stock market. KEPCO has the first class research institute, which is especially prominent in nuclear power technology and CFBC technology.
            Deutsche Bank:Deutsche Bank is the largest bank in Germany and one of the primary financial institutions in the world, ranking No.113 (by 2010) in Fortune 500 companies. The shares of the company are traded in German stock market and the stock markets in Europe. The total assets are over 490 billion Euros.
            The J-Power and The Chugoku Electric Power:The Japan Power and The Chugoku Electric Power are large scale electric power companies in Japan. They operate many water power and coal-fired power facilities.
